The Kalayü are descendants of Southeastern Asian settlers who came to Rastynhaven in the mid 3100s (early 1500s). The vast majority of which were either Cantonese Punti or Hoa, the remaining being Vietnamese, Hakka, or Taishanese. Most can speak fluently in Cantonese, Vietnamese, and/or Hakka.

The Kalayü people are named for their language Kalayü.
Demographics[]
Most Kalayü live in the cities Kripatra, Saprahua, and Lục Trà Đôu. The rest reside in other urban communities or make a living as farmers.
